This project is an effort to document the process of the creation of a serialized audio book, from inception to delivery. It was born out of a frenzied desperation to keep my attention focused on the goal of successfully completing NaNoWriMo without being distracted by the three or four other things I want to do at the same time.
I've been toying with the idea of getting back into the studio and doing some audio work for quite some time. I realized I'd been stalling. I cut my professional teeth on voice work for radio and television. This presents a perfect opportunity for me to rediscover my voice, brush up on those rusty editing skills and clean my office, as well as find the completion point for that elusive first novel.
In addition, I'm still getting my feet wet using social media as a tool to promote my writings and podcasts. Again, it's a good opportunity for me spread my wings a little and see how far I can soar outside of my comfort zone.
I have set a guess-timated, six month agenda without any regard to real world concerns. Hopefully, this will give me enough time to execute my master plan. The green font indicates tasks that have been completed, the red, bold font indicates current task(s) and the black font represents future tasks.
